Please help us raise money to support Chieko who was widowed far too young and faces life with her two children (aged 11 and 5)
Nationwide
When our dear dog groomer friend Chieko came to New Zealand in her younger years, she could not have imagined the amazing life ahead of her.
She lived for years with her Kiwi Mum Sheila Morris, and her Kiwi dad Bill Morris (since sadly passed away) and went on an amazing grooming journey to become a Master Groomer with her Kiwi Sister Emma Case-Peters.
Later Chieko would meet the man of her dreams, Matthew and they married and started the next phase of their life together. Many enjoyable birthdays and Christmases were spent in each other's company with their Kiwi families around them. They strived to provide a great life for their family, and although they didn't have much, they were rich in love and friendship and the joy of raising their children together.
Today, Chieko's world has come crashing down as she contemplates life without her dear husband Matthew who passed away yesterday (7 July 2023) from a devastating stroke.
Together they have two lovely children, Mi Mi (11 years) and Jo Jo (7 years) who must now face the future without their doting father and Chieko's devoted husband.
Please help in any way you can with a small token as we help relieve the pressures of being a young widow with a funeral to plan and help take a little weight off her shoulders.
Chieko has been a part of the Grooming community and the National Groomers Association of NZ for many years. Many of you will know her as we do, but many will not have had the pleasure of getting to know her soft gentle friendly nature.
All funds raised will go to Chieko to use as needed in moving on without Matthew by her side, raising her two children, and planning a funeral 40 years too soon.
