Help us get Conrad back on the golf course by beating cancer and ease the financial toll.

Conrad was diagnosed with stage 2 bowel cancer. Emergency surgery removed the cancer in the bowel. However, in April Conrad went for a CT scan that revealed a metastatic lymph node in his pelvic area, diagnosed as a tumour. An emergency surgery was performed where a tube was inserted to his kidney so that he was able to pass urine using a bag which he carries on his leg. A cancer treatment plan is in place plus another major operation in a couple of weeks - pelvic exenteration.
We are asking for your support so that the financial strain can be reduced for Conrad, his wife and two sons.
Conrad is a great golfer and we miss playing with him. They don’t have family in NZ and it’s our friends that take that role to support them in a great time of need.

Conrad and I are old school buddies and have been playing golf together for the past 30 years, the last few years in our adopted amazing New Zealand.
Use of funds
Conrad needs to stay home to recover from treatments, he is out of sick and annual leave and is struggling to meet all his obligations. Funds will provide him with a path to focus on getting better without the financial stress on his family.

Your support made all the difference 13 January 2023
Conrad went into the operating room and it’s been a couple of months since our last update. The operation went better than expected and Conrad is on the slow recovery train. The great news is that he started working this week and we are so great full for his progress. Again, thank you for your kindness in supporting our Givealittle page.
