    Thank you for your support, it means so much to us. Monica has now completed her Chemo treatment, which included the Larturvo drug that you kindly enabled us to access.

    The specialists were pleased with the results and it has been effective in fighting the cancer. Monica has now been accepted on an immunotherapy clinical trial starting January. We will keep you updated and look forward to sharing positive news with you.

    The total funds we have raised exceeded our expectations and requirements. The excess funds have been held to cover future medical costs as we continue with this battle.

  • We have more good news to share!

    Hi everyone,

    Monica had another PET Scan after her round 4 of chemo on Tuesday 2nd Oct. This scan showed no evidence of disease (NED) in her pelvic area. The spots on her lung have reduced down to 3 small spots and activity is much lower. Her Oncologist is extremely pleased with the results and referred to Monica as their "poster child" for this latruvo treatment.

    Monica completed round 5 of her chemo treatment today.

    We'd like to thank all of you for your on going support and prayers for our Monica.

    She is truly amazing! God is faithful!

  • PET scan update.

    Dear Monica’s Army of Angels,

    We are so excited and happy to share some great news with you all.

    Monica had a PET scan this week and the team at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse are really pleased and surprised with the results. After only 2 cycles there is evidence of a significant reduction in disease in all areas affected.

    The treatment you have helped fund is working.

    To all our awesome supporters,

    Monica is scheduled to have the next dose of Lartruvo on Tuesday. She is handling the drug really well and she continues to inspire us each day.

    With direct donations we are now close to our target, with $78k raised - this has significantly exceeded our expectations and your donations have enabled Mon to have this cutting edge drug.

  • Chemo round 2 update 31st July

    Today, Monica had her second round of treatment. This was administered successfully. She felt well throughout the 3 hour process. Monica had plenty of visitors with her during the treatment, which made the process far more pleasant. Meanwhile, she also devoured a ham, cheese, tomato toastie before her taste buds changed.

    Thank you all so very much for your encouraging messages, prayers and generous donations. We are truly humbled and blessed to have such an army behind us. Together we will win this battle.

    Mon was meant to have another dosage this week but specialist was concerned about low blood count so next chemo round is on the 31st of July. Thanks!
