Our family farm in Pakowhai was severely damaged by Cyclone Gabrielle. They were rescued but only with the clothes they were wearing. I'm hoping to raise funds to assist and support them as they have lost almost everything and this will help them get back on their feet. He lost his crops of Potatoes and Pumpkins. House, farm equipment, vehicles and soil all destroyed.

They are insured however right now they have lost everything. Crops are not insured. Anything not required will go towards another charity/community associated with cyclone Gabrielle.

Hey everyone,
I would just like to thank you all for your support, it has been invaluable in tackling the monumental challenge of the clean up and recovering farm equipment etc. Our farm is situated in an area currently designated as a Category 3 (Red Zone), a status that, although provisional, seems increasingly likely to endure. Your support has made a significant difference during this trying time. Dad has said they are in a good head space and the support and kindness shown has kept their spirits up.
