Pape's Wrestle With Leukemia

Pape was diagnosed with Leukemia in July 2014, he is a 11 year old boy from Dunedin. Pape has spent a lot of the past year undergoing treatment in and out of Dunedin and away from his family and friends. Pape continues to receive treatment and is able to have this done in the local children's ward, However the costs associated with his day to day care, both when he's in hospital and keeping a family home running and warm over winter for Pape and his family to prevent Pape getting sick is hard. He has little to no immunity. This page has been set up to help there be the resources available to keep Pape at home and out of hospital as much as possible and also give him the things in life he enjoys. Our first goal was to raise money to keep Pape warm over winter, a dry warm environment will hopefully mean pape doesn't get sick often thanks to all the support raised here apart from some other complications with bones and organs Pape remained home as much as possible for this we thank you all. Now our next goal is to help Pape and his family celebrate Xmas as best as they can now we are not talking just gifts, money raised will ensure Pape and his family can have time together and celebrate in style. Last christmas Pape was away from family undergoing treatment let's make this year special for him and his family. There is a lot of support for Pape in the community so we thank you for any donations towards Pape's recovery.

The money raised will be going towards the things to keep pape at home over winter. The family will need to keep the fire going 24/7 as pape has no immunity and cannot get sick, also costs associated to keeping him at home and medical costs etc including, transport etc.
