Hi Rachel,

This wouldn't be the most conventional way of reaching out to you. However, we have not been able to locate any contact details for you. My apologies in advance.

Let me start off by introducing myself. I'm Richard Haymaker. Most people know me as Ben. However, I'm reaching out on behalf of all the brilliant engineers and professionals that make up SHIFT. We are an extremely active group out of Colorado, with a love for sports and adventure.

My business partner and I created a parent company (Helios) in which controls various operating groups. Our focus is to build subsidiaries, all working toward technology advancements to the world of prosthetics and assistive devices. Our teams at Shift Prosthetics and Shift Robotics have been, aggressively and confidently, conducting research and prototyping developments in pursuant of bringing AI robotics and 3D printing technologies together. These combined advancements will give the individual COMPLETE functionality with realism that can be unmatched.

We have added to our research and development efforts with moving into the space of sport specific assistive technologies. With a focus to building advancements in this space, we want to design/build and provide a competitive edge to today’s sport-specific assistive devices. A turnkey development through Shift Prosthetics and Shift Sports (still working on a name for this new one... suggestions welcomed) will provide more than a competitive edge but allow for a higher level of comfort to the socket, brace, or limb cover through state-of-the-art pressure mapping and complementary technologies.

Now that you have a general idea of who we are and what our focal points are, my purpose in reaching out is to let you know how inspiring your story and successes have been to, not only other para-athletes, but able-bodied individuals like myself.

The adversity that has been overcome through motivation and commitment is contagious within all sports and life's disciplines.

As we begin research into this space we would like to respectfully ask if you would be willing to assist us in our studies and developments? We hope, through your guidance as a world class athlete, we are able to advance the market and help other para-athletes push through and overcome adversity like yourself. Ultimately giving the world of assistive devices a revolutionary edge.

As a thank you in advance for your supporting efforts, when we go-to-market, we would like to offer a more suitable appreciation for the time that would be consumed in your assistance.

We appreciate your consideration and hope to hear from you soon.

Richard Haymaker
