Parent Aid Needs you!

On October 28 2018 I will run the Auckland half marathon. I am doing this as a fundraiser for Parent Aid as a way of saying thank you for supporting not only me but all whanau in our area. A very special non profit organisation!

I can never thank Parent Aid enough for all their in home support and care! Soon after the birth of my second son, my nana, who was such a huge part of my life, died unexpectedly. Previous to this we had also lost our beautiful nephew. Parent aid came to my home to help me out when my husband went back to work and were nothing short of AMAZING! They helped clean, cook and more importantly formed a beautiful, loving bond with my 2 year old son. This was such an emotionally heart breaking time but Parent aid were there to help bring peace and some normality back to our family. They helped me out for 2 1/2months and I am forever grateful to them for making this tragic time a little more bearable. There work is the work of angels.

Parent Aid North West are an incredible non profit organisation who help families in the North West Auckland area.

Their Mission is to support the role of parents as an important part of a healthy NZ Society by providing free practical help to families that have the responsibility for the everyday care of preschool children.
