Our excellent runners completed the runs! Congrats to everyone that participated and for the great fundraising! And thank you to everyone that donated, we have almost doubled our goal!
Teo has run a couple of half marathons before but this one is rather special as it is at home. She hopes to do it in a good time, not just because it's nice to have a new PB but she has a dog show to return too afterwards.
Andrew & Andy have signed up to run the 10km. They haven't run a race in a little while but they are training now and are excited to be part of the team. So if you'd like to support Andrew & Andy, send some donations our way for some encouragement.
We will introduce all of our runners one over the next couple of weeks. Lydia is currently the only one of our runners who will be running the full marathon which is just amazing! Lydia has run a full marathon previously and her training is going well. Donate whatever you are able to to encourage Lydia and to support the Pātaka Ora Community kitchen.
To raise funds for the community kitchen, Pātaka Ora, a group of us will be running all the distances during the Dunedin marathon on the 15th September.
