Patella surgery for a 7 month Kitten

    Delilah had xrays yesterday everything looks normal. Actually felt and moved her Patella which was weird but she does have luxating patellas in both legs just one is worse, meaning that amputation is not an option.

    We are going to wait until she has finished growing before we do anything as it could disrupt the growth plates.

    So any money donated will go into a savings account just for this until it is needed.

  • Quote for surgery.

    Got a quote from the specialist vet which is 4.5k for the surgery itself.

    A bit more then what I expected. Sadly because she is so young and still growing they may not do surgery on her until she is older. Meaning more cage rest and pain killers....
