“Paw-it-forward” with paradise pet salon & spa Ltd.

Here at paradise pet salon & spa Ltd, we believe in second chances, forever homes, giving back and being avid supporters of pet adoption. To put our money where our mouths are we feel it’s time to go big or go home. We have created our “paw-it-forward” 🐾 scheme which we hope will enable us to reach as many shelter/rescue dogs as possible to encourage potential pet parents to choose adoption first and get these precious pups into their loving fur ever homes and off of the euthanasia register.

100% of funds raised will finance our efforts to offer free services to rescue and shelter pets who become eligible for adoption, as well as free services for service & therapy dogs also, our annual adoption even and sterilisation efforts.

Our long term goal is to launch an annual, out of this world 🗺 dog event each year which will enable shelters and dog rescues from all over NZ to showcase their adoptable pets and hopefully raise awareness for current and future pet owners. Education is priceless and we want to take away the “ out of sight, out of mind” barrier we have that is causing our kiwi kennels to overflow with pets who so sorely need and deserve loving families.

In addition to the free services on offer and our goal of annual adoption events, we will also donate 10% of all donations to local rescues and local vets for public aid to pay, in part or full where possible, for dog and cat sterilisation to help prevent future unwanted litters or the detrimental over breeding of our female companion animals.

I am currently networking with various rescues in the Waikato region to work with me on this project. I want to close my salon to the public once a month for a day or two depending on need to offer free services to pre-adoption, service/therapy and emergency case pets associated with the rescue agencies.

We will offer free services to rescue/shelter pets to aid health and training, funding sterilisation to prevent unwanted litters and to launch an annual pet adoption and education event that will showcase all aspects of pet care, health & adoption.
