PEANUT THE TINY CHIHUAHUA IS MISSING

She is only around 1.5kgs & super small. She is my baby.

On Saturday 8 July, Peanut went missing from Allison Cres in Kaiapoi while being looked after while her family was holidaying in Australia.

Her family are absolutely heartbroken.

There were sightings of her around Kaiapoi Saturday afternoon & evening, but she was terrified & ran from anyone that got close. dozens of people have been looking for her & the community has been incredible with their constant support. I am so grateful to each & everyone of you! Chris lynch has even reported on this!

I have been working with the dog-tracker Don & he has been available for me any time of the day & has spent hours of his own time on a daily basis giving me tracking maps, advice & keeping my spirits up. Unfortunately being on a family holiday the week Peanut disappeared, has cleaned out any spare funds.

The unknown of where she is, what's happened & possibly who has her even has been absolutely devastating to my family. I have not been able to return to work as am spending every hour possible doing what ever needs to be done to bring her home.

Use of funds

The funds raised are for any costs associated with all the efforts to bring peanut home and any costs associated with this. Whether it be advertising her disappearance, advertising on lost pages and their service to any costs if she is found deceased. Should we get Don down to help find her, once we have a concrete sighting, these finds will be used for his accomodation travel and food costs.

Thank you all for your generous contribution towards getting Peanut back. I am doing everything I can to find her and bring her home. Please keep sharing as the more noise we make about her the more of a chance we have of getting her home.

I am currently in the process of getting flyers printed to post the reward foe her safe return all over places she possibly was spotted kaiapoi new brighton and surrounds are areas of interest.
