Please help someone that selflessly helps so many others every week!

Bay of Plenty

Pearl selflessly feeds the homeless and struggling families in Te Puke every week. She cooks a meal and serves it to approx 30 - 40 people every Saturday night in Te Puke. She gives her time, love and money to this cause every week even when her own cupboards might be bare. She is a loving mother and wife. Tragically her baby boy passed away 5 years ago and she has not been able to give him the unveiling he deserves, the unveiling she and her family need to heal. I am trying to raise the $2000 she needs for her baby's unveiling. Please help Pearl!

Bex Griffiths' involvement (page creator)

I know Pearl from Under the Stars Te Puke where I donate ingredients for the Saturday meal, and sometimes (when needed) helping with the cooking of the meal. I have personally seen Pearls completely selfless efforts to help her community and think it would be so so awesome if we as a community could help her. For 2 years she has fed the struggling families in Te Puke without question or judgement, she has brought groceries for families that desperately needed it....even when her own cupboards were bare! She has helped families get into homes, and furnish their homes. She does this all without judgement, and with love :) But sometimes our 'helpers' need help too! She never complains or talks about her own pain. She never asks for help for herself....I'm asking the Te Puke Community to please help this amazing lady that has done so much for the Te Puke community, and continues to do so. Donate so she and her family can give their baby boy the unveiling he deserves and heal.

Aloha Pearl, on Saturday morning our son arrived into this world too early and too little for life. We will hold him and hug him and raise him during the millenium, but for now we will miss his physical presence. As I sat in the hospital bed, full of emotion, I realised the need that mothers have to lay a head stone on their childs resting place. In that moment, I promised Heavenly Father that I would make sure you could lay a headstone in place to honour your beautiful son's little life. Little life not a little loss. My heart now understands where your heart has been. Its a hard blessing to understand. There is nothing like it to motivate you to be better, to honour your covenants, to draw closer to the Saviour through living and ministering to others as he did, in order to be worthy of raising the sons who wait for us, on the other side of the veil. Arohanui, me ke Aloha, Alofa Tele, Janneke
