Performance horse retirement home - living out the golden years in love and comfort

We believe that horses who have dedicated their lives to performance in the show ring, race track or other forum deserve to live their lives out in comfort and happiness, without fear of neglect or loneliness.

Our current residents in retirement are retired from the show ring, race track and polo field, and are looked after with the best care possible. They have big turn out paddocks with shelters, cozy stables for inclement weather, warm rugs for cold weather and fly rugs for summer, get regular foot trimming and shoeing, annual teeth care, regular vet visits and have their own osteopath and acupuncturist!

Our oldest resident just turned 28 and can be seen in our cover photo. She is given daily grooms, night time carrots and loved dearly. Her front teeth recently had to be removed due to a hereditary condition however she is doing great and loving her little mare herd.

Our monthly expenses to provide the care we give is $1500-2500 in feed bills, vet care, maintenance, rugs, hay, and osteopathy treatment. We would like to continue this care for years to come and expand to accommodate up to 10 retirees (we currently have 5.) We try to accommodate any retiree that needs a temporary home and we don’t turn away those in dire need. Consequently our guest list is growing!
