    Thanks to your help well over 300 pizzas were handed out to the community in Puketapu at the Pub on Sunday- phew!

    The truck team barely caught their breath from 2pm-8pm, feeding mud covered locals after their day digging silt

    - there is still capacity with the givealittle funds to put on another pizza party at Pipi for the flood affected households up and around Joll Road- hopefully this weekend- and also to continue cooking pizzas for other flood affected families from the restaurant as needed

  • Puketapu this sunday

    You will have noticed in the news that the Puketapu community was particularly hard hit

    Immediately after the cyclone local heroes set up a relief hub between the school and pub, co-ordinating help wherever needed

    We will be fueling up and stocking the pizza truck today and tomorrow and heading out to Puketapu Pub this Sunday afternoon and will keep you posted about how it all goes

    Thanks again for your contribution, the locals are extremely grateful for you making this giant pizza party happen

    We are saving costs with donated products and labour wherever we can so we will keep you updated about how far donations go - there’s certainly enough in there probably for a couple of big pizza parties at least

    Just a quick note to thank you so much for your donation you’ll be making a huge difference to cyclone affected families

    We are currently working with local community leaders to see where and when we should take the pizza truck and fire up the ovens

    Your donations have far exceeded our expectations so we will be making a lot of pizzas- maybe a few outings - and in the restaurant as well

    We hosted the Joll Road affected families for pizza last Sunday - Here’s a pic of the hardworking navy on table 21
