Plastic bags and non-recyclable plastics to Biofuel. Plastoil Australasia needs your help to get started and clean up New Zealand

Unspecified

Plastoil is the solution to our plastic waste problem converting waste plastic bags etc which are presently dumped into the landfills but we are finding it hard to get companies to invest in the technology.

Plastoil System is manufactured in the EU and can process 1000kgs of Waste plastic (Polystyrene, Polypropylene, Polyethylene) per day, producing approximately 1000 litres of Biodiesel.

This Biodiesel can be blended into fuel for vehicles, ships, or used to power hospitals generating electricity. We have decided buy the first unit ourselves, and we will raise half the capital. Hopefully, with your help we can raise the other half and make New Zealand a future leader in plastic recycling.

We have resource consent and land available at the Wellington City Council Southern Landfill.

If you believe that New Zealand recycle our all our recyclable waste, then you will be surprised how much goes into land fill. China recently told New Zealand and other countries we will not take all your rubbish, including most of our plastic.

We are also designing units that can fit on ships that not only clean up the oceans but are fueled of the plastic waste they clean up.

Use of funds

To manufacture the first plant for New Zealand and start recycling plastic
