As you know, a devastating war has been tearing Ukraine apart over the past several months. The courage and strength of the Ukrainians are amplified with collective action, and you can help make a difference with Play for Ukraine!

Our mission is to raise funds to support Ukraine through organizing sport events around New Zealand. Play for Ukraine brings the best experience of your favourite sport and gives everyone the opportunity to express their support to the people of Ukraine. All the sport lovers can enjoy their game and donate for the great cause.

ABOUT US

We are a group of passionate volunteers born and raised in Ukraine currently living in New Zealand. We are fortunate to be safe and live our normal lives, though our hearts break every day because of the suffering our fellow Ukrainians are going through. We admire their courage and are doing our best to support them in their fight for freedom.

Our goal is to contribute to the Ukrainian governmental humanitarian initiative -UNITED24 (u24.gov.ua)- developed and promoted by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to ease the suffering of the Ukrainian civilians. The support we receive is a huge driver for the people of Ukraine to withstand all the challenges and survive the brutal attack.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform.
