Your chance to play a part for a committed disabled athlete who won’t let his blindness impede his dream to become an Alpine ski racer.
Nationwide
Thomas Coysh, the Blind Skiwi, wants you to help him train to represent NZ as an alpine ski racer, ultimately at the 2026 Winter Paralympics in Turin. Thomas hasn’t let his total blindness determine what is possible, he wants to show that there is no limit to what he can achieve. After a season together in NZ, Thomas and his guide John Nicholas are going to Canada for a professional ski camp to help develop Thomas into a successful athlete. The combination of Thomas’ determination, his trusted guide’s mentorship and your support can make this goal a reality and make NZ proud. Thomas is embarking on back-to-back winters in NZ & Canada after renewing his childhood love of skiing since losing his sight.
