      4 July 2024

Hey everyone! I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks to all the amazing people who sponsored me. Your generosity and support mean the world to me, and I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you for believing in me and for helping me reach my goals. Only about seven weeks to go!

The way Givealittle works is that some of you hid your identity when donating, whether intentionally or not. This means I cannot tell who made some very generous donations, as I would love to thank you in person. If you did not intend to donate anonymously, please quietly let me know. I would hate for anyone to go unthanked.

I promise to keep training hard, and I assure you I'm not using your donations for a holiday in the sun. I'm happy to report that my fitness levels are improving weekly! I've been putting in the hard work, and it's really paying off. The rest of the NZ team and I post regular videos of our training buildup and links to the event when we arrive. You can follow along on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn @stressreductionguy.

Hi everyone, I'm posting an update for all you kind people who have donated to help me get to Costa Rica. I've booked my airfares and accommodation; your donations have been hugely helpful; thank you. I appreciate all the support, donations, and training advice I've received. Thank you, everyone.

Training is going well, six days a week, with multiple sessions on some days. I'm very fortunate to have a highly experienced fitness coach, Sean Tagg, a former trainer in the Premier League with Fulham, NRL and A-League football. Sean has given me invaluable advice, and my fitness has increased exponentially this past few months. With over two months until Costa Rica, I'm feeling good and excited to see how fit I can get. I might post a few training videos on Facebook along the way.

I aim to be in the best possible physical condition to be competitive. I don't have as much experience as some athletes I'm competing against, but I hope to give it my best shot and learn from the experience.
