  • Thankyou

      18 September 2021

Thankyou so much everyone for your kind words an all help.September 10th two months to the date of mums passing, we were granted an emergency council with the judge where he approved all court orders required and uplifted the non removal order.

Such amazing news as they had originally postponed it till November. Mum was definitely felt on the day.

The last two and a half months have been great for Briar and I to settle and have whānau support but we (I) are so excited to start getting ready for our next adventure in Australia 🥰

Thank you again to everyone who has donated to this page it is beyond words the amount of love we have surrounding us!

    A little update for everyone:

On Tuesday Taylor and signed our affidavits for our case to be submitted through the courts. Wednesday I was granted to be a guardian and was given a temporary parent order. The courts have placed a block on B leaving the country till a final decision is made however the judge is allowing us to still apply for a passport for her. B will be assigned a lawyer who will report back to the judge.

Yesterday was a month since Nana passed away and in 4 days it will be a month since Mum passed away and I don’t think any of us really have our heads around it yet. B went through a week of having a chest infection which was an emotional week for her. She has been so strong through all of this 💜

Thankyou all for your kind help so far its all very appreciated. Skye and Briar are in emergency housing for the next 3 months while guardianship is sorted. They are waiting on a court date. Once all this goes through Skye will take Brair home to Australia where she can sort her job and get Brair settled.
