Our much loved and truly treasured Nigel suddenly and unexpectedly passed away last week while on holiday in Germany. The German authorities confirmed to Nigel's family that his cause of death is from natural causes due to undetected heart disease (cardiac arrest). Sadly, Nigel's father passed from this same disease at an early age as well as an uncle. Nigel was three weeks away from turning 50 and was coming home to NZ to spend precious time with his family and friends before returning to Sydney. We desperately need to get Nigel back home to NZ as soon as possible so he can be with his loved ones. Any donation you make goes directly to Nigel's family and is a massive help in getting him back home. Your help and support is gratefully accepted by Nigels family.

Hi Everyone, today is the final day of Nige's give a little page. On behalf of Nigel's family a tremendous thank you to each and everyone of you who have kindly donated, left heartfelt messages and given endless love and support to Nige's family during this arduous time. The family are still working tirelessly toward bringing Nige home to NZ, however as of today there is still no confirmation yet as to when that will happen. This is all due to delays overseas and unfortunately is outside of anyone's control.

In the meantime please keep Jo, Marie and all of the family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you again. We all love and miss you Nige xxx

RIP dear Nige - this has been unbelievably devastating and shocking news. Please pass my condolences to his family & other dear / close friends. I was fortunate to have been one of the lucky ones to have had a long & special relationship, as well as endearing friendship with this beautiful man. I was due to see him in London during his last week here - unfortunately that never happened. I will miss him dearly & hope you can get him quickly to his family & home in NZ :-) xxxx
