  • Second Update on Glen Murphy

      28 September 2024

In my previous update, I provided a link to an article on Glen’s situation, by Jeremy Wilkinson, an Open Justice Reporter with the NZ Herald. After posting the update, it became apparent that many readers found the article of interest, and many further donations were received. So, once again, both my son and I would like to offer heartfelt thanks to all who have donated so generously to this page. For readers new to my page, I provide a further link to Jeremy’s page below.

  • First update on Glen's page

      8 August 2024

Thanks so much to all those kind people who have donated to Glen's Givealittle page, which has now been running just 3 weeks. A significant development occurred last Sunday (August 4th) when Jeremy Wilkinson, an Open Justice Reporter with the NZ Herald, published an excellent article on Glen’s situation. It was well-researched, informative, and provided far more detail than we could provide in our page. The article obviously resonated with many readers, and elicited a significant number donations. For those who have not seen Jeremy’s article, it can be viewed by clinking on this link: https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/tetraplegic-glen-murphy-denied-acc-care-despite-missed-meningitis-diagnosis/GKIAXXG4LVGCZEMIWE77VAFOGU/

On a final note, I would be most grateful if readers/ donors could forward this link and/or my page URL to their friends. Many thanks again for your support.
