    I spent yesterday looking for other clinics, and I contacted 111 Vet Clinic yesterday to ask for a quote. At that time, they estimated the surgery would cost around $4,000–$5,000.

    Today, I transferred Max from VSA Henderson to 111 Vet Clinic. The initial estimate included one day of hospitalisation, and the new quote, including the surgery, is around $5,000–$7,000.

    I’ve lowered the fundraising goal to $5,000 for now, as I still have a little bit of insurance coverage remaining. I’ll continue to keep everyone updated on Max’s condition. ❤️🐱

  • Regarding the surgery quote

    Regarding the surgery quote, the surgery amount was based on a price range the doctor gave me when I spoke with them over the phone on the morning of 10 September. I haven’t spoken with the specialist who would be performing the surgery yet, as that would involve an additional $300 consultation fee.

    As I mentioned before, my insurance coverage is almost maxed out, so at this stage, I would prefer to make sure that his medication and pain relief are not interrupted. Thank you so much for your kindness.
