Help NZ families appoint a liquidator after the Actura NZ collapse. We need answers on the whereabouts of the collective loss of $4m.
Nationwide
As you may have heard from friends, family or in the media - Actura Australia went into liquidation on the 14th June and as a result has shattered over 350 student’s dreams across NZ. Families had paid approx $4 million in total to attend one of their ‘once in a lifetime’ experiences to their Ocean School and Space Schools in NASA.
With urgency we need to appoint a liquidator at a cost of $30k to access files, bank accounts etc to understand what happened to the $4 million in payments and hopefully seek compensation. This is where we would love your support.
In order for us to put Actura NZ Limited into liquidation we need to acquire the shares which are currently owned by Actura Australia. It will cost $500AUD to carry out the process so funds will also be used towards this. As soon as we acquire these shares we can begin the liquidation process.
If nothing else this process will allow families to rest knowing we have done everything possible to hold the Director and Actura Australia accountable. Any help would be most appreciated. Funds will be deposited directly into a lawyers trust account to ensure 100% is put towards the liquidation process.
Please note anyone who contributes does so in the full knowledge that this fund is being used for the purposes of appointing and paying a liquidator. This may or may not result in distributions to creditors at some point in the future but nothing is known at this point in time.
Your support is truly appreciated.
The beneficiary is a lawyer who will hold all donations in a trust fund for the liquidation process.
Raising funds to appoint a liquidator to investigate the conduct of Actura NZ and to identify what happened to the loss of $4m. All donations will be kept in a lawyers trust fund and used solely for the liquidation process (including the $500AUD for initial shares).
