No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
Taranaki
To all of us who Love and/or have a connection with Robyn; Robby; Rubi; Mum; Artist; friend; a dear, gracious, gentle, determined friend 💫
Rubi 's latest CT scan has shown spread to her spine and bones which can only be treated with a further follow up blood test which is done in Greece. This is the most pressing cost at $2500 (immediately) along with the Vit C IV @ $500 pw! This will give Rubi a new targeted regime to help her get back on track along with all her other treatments.
Background...
Rubi/Robby was diagnosed with leather bottle stomach cancer 14 months ago. The Oncologist gave her the “I’m sorry” eyes. She decided differently, and looked to holistic doctors and health professionals for her care. When she arrived to us on Waiheke Island 15 May 2019 weighing 44 kilos, my (retired nurse) mum and (medic first aid) partner advised we put her in a hospice. She looked and felt almost dead. Robby’s spine was traumatised and skull fractured, and she was starving to death.
Her wonderful partner Jono and I got to work in supporting her under the guidance of a Naturopath specialising in cancer and chronic disease treatment. He and we called in all the troops..Vitamin C injections from a local doctor, Osteopathy , Acupuncture, superfoods, detoxes, cleanses and even a full on session with a local Shaman. With determination Robyn did everything she was prescribed to do, and within months was flourishing, 3 months later returning home to Taranaki to continue her recovery. Those of you fortunate to see her in the past 8 months will agree she’s been the healthiest...and happiest...she’s possibly ever been.
Some of the treatments and supplements were generously given or subsidised by the the giver or Give A Little (https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/please-help-our-beautiful-friend-rob-on), yet the cost of healthy living in recovery has been high for Rubi and Jono. So they had to pause a lot of the treatments once funds ran dry. Literally. She has cashed in her kiwi saver, sold her art and utilised all avenues she and Jono can think of. And now they’ve been given notice in their new home they loved and have a large expense for moving.
Literally Rubi has no more funds for the treatments at this time.
If you wish to support Rubi at any time, now is her biggest hour of need💫
There is much hope and much we can give to support the quality of life she has so appreciated and healed from these past months.

Here’s Rubi’s story in her words:
So far I’ve done over a year of natural healing. I began with a massive detox. My latest scan results show that I’ve managed to stop the stomach cancer from developing, but it has spread more in my bones.
Part of my journey was sending my blood to Greece (just my blood, not me unfortunately). This was an intensive look at what natural therapies would specifically target my type of cancer. The results showed intravenous Vitamin C, Agaricus Blazei (medicinal mushrooms) and Quercetin (anti-oxidant) had the highest kill rate on this cancer.
Thankfully I was able to access a professional who would administer the IVC, but the cost is high. $250 per dose, twice weekly to be effective. So my friends got a Give a Little together, and along with the help from my lovely son Chris and other friends, I was able to do the treatment.
A year later, money ran out, and I haven’t afforded IVC for quite a few months. I am still doing the AgaricusBlazei, medicinal mushrooms, powerful supplements, vitamins and minerals as prescribed, eg iron, zinc, D, Iodine, Lymphatox, Oxygenics, coloidal silver, turmeric, probiotics.
It does cost a lot to keep up with this, so thank you for any help you may give.
With love & appreciation!

Rubi is a friend of mine and one of the most beautiful, kind and warm hearted people I know. I'm just here to help organise funding for her treatments in order to make this process as stress free for Rubi as possible.
