We have made it back to NZ. Thank you alll for your support and kind words ❤️ long journey ahead but it’s well worth it. Mel can eat small amounts now. She will be able to build herself back up and live again.
Hi Mel
So pleased to read that surgery went well and you're back home.
All the best as you continue to recover and reach your goals 🙂
After an extended stay in hospital, we made it out yesterday. Slept very well in apartment. Mel is enjoying being able to eat bits, slow recovery but definitely worth it!
Well done, Mel, that's awesome news. I know your dad is looking forward to seeing you both.
Good stuff Mel, awesome news, take your time and recover and then you will be able to go running w/ your Dad, beat him and prevent him falling or pick him up when he falls.
Surgery was done two weeks ago, now the recovery phase.
Mel can eat 9 teaspoons of food and really enjoying “human food”
Fluid retention keeping us in hospital a bit longer.
Good afternoon, guys, Ger advised all re Fluid Retention, I had that when I was in Hospital for a few weeks. Just letting you know he is leaving work to go for a run, let's hope he does not Fall!
