An urgent appeal to support Prince Paul’s wife and two young children with funeral costs, repatriation, and essential care.

Wellington

It is with shattered hearts that we share the sudden and tragic passing of our dear friend, Prince Paul, following a devastating accident in Wellington. Prince leaves behind his loving wife and their two very young children, aged just 3 years and 1.5 years old. In one unimaginable moment, this young family has lost a devoted husband, a loving father, and their pillar of strength.

Prince came to New Zealand in 2015 with hopes of building a better future. Through honesty, dedication, and hard work, he built a life he was proud of. Two years ago, he and his wife achieved their dream of buying their first home. Prince was known for his gentle nature, warm smile, and quiet kindness.

His family now faces emotional, financial, and practical challenges at the most vulnerable time of their lives. Funds raised will support funeral costs, repatriation of Prince’s body to India, and provide essential support for his wife and children as they rebuild their lives. No contribution is too small. ACC may provide some support, but this has not yet been confirmed and more support is still needed.

Thank you for your compassion, your generosity, and your humanity. Wellington Malayalee Association (WMA)

On behalf of the Wellington Malayalee Association, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. He will be remembered with warmth and affection by all who knew him. May God grant strength and comfort to his family during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
