Help Rachelle fight this cruel disease
Auckland
Rachelle is an amazing solo mother of three wonderful boys, Riley age 15, Max aged 12 and Nash aged 10, who is battling Leiomyosarcoma an aggressive smooth muscle cancer.
Rachelle has had two major surgeries to remove large tumours from her abdomen. But sadly, the tumours returned and Rachelle has been told further surgery is no longer an option.
Rachelle has since undergone 6 rounds of intense chemotherapy, which amazingly and thankfully shrunk a large portion of the tumours. Now in hope of stopping the growth and shrinking the tumours further, Rachelle needs to start a targeted cancer drug called Pazopanib. However, this life saving drug is not funded in New Zealand and will cost $1000nzd per month.
We are researching every avenue available to shrink the tumours further and to give Rachelle more time with her amazing boys. Unfortunately, most of these treatments are unfunded and are not an option without your help.
Rachelle has been an amazing friend to me over the last eight years, she is selfless and goes above and beyond for everyone. Anyone who knows Rachelle knows she is a wonderful mother, so please help her fund these treatments and ease the massive financial burden she is facing at this challenging time.
Every dollar is a huge help and we are so grateful!
A cherished best friend
The money will be used for Pazopanib & other medication options. As well as hyperbaric oxygen therapy, specialist tests and appointments and any essential costs.
