Please help save my little dog James leg.
Desperately needing financial assistance to save my little dogs leg after neighbours dog charged into my home and savagely attacked him.

My friends dog,a little shih tzu called James, was savagely attacked in his home by the next door neighbours pitbull. My friend also suffered injuries from the pitbull slamming the door into her but not to the extent of James.
James foot/leg is the worst of his injuries. Both bones have been broken and required a vet specialising in orthapedic surgery in Palmerston. James requires two operations and have been told it will be around 5 to 6 thousand. Follow up treatment will be twice weekly at first then weekly.
He is to stay caged for four and a half months for healing to take place.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
We took James up to Massey Vet Hospital in Palmerston North last week for a check up. Unfortunately the bone hasn't knitted back enough to remove the pins. We now have to wait until late January to see if they can be removed then - fingers crossed.
