Please help save our fur baby Dexter 💖

My beautiful, 5 year old, Scottish fold cat, Dexter has been feeling ill off and on since February 14th following the flooding after Cyclone Gabrielle. We had to evacuate our home in under 3 minutes in meeanee Sears road and we had to leave our baby there for 3 days until we could manage to rescue him.😔😭 He was spewing a week after the cyclone but gradually came right after a few days. 2 weeks ago we rushed him to the Vets after feeling a swollen ball on his stomach. Clive vets had been operating on him all afternoon for 8 hours due to removing silt like sludge and hundreds of little stones blocking his bladder. He’s made it through which is amazing news and the vets thought it was unlikely he would make it through the night after his operation but we couldn't be happier to have our boy back at home healing. Unfortunately the vet bill has come to a total of $3159.96 and will likely grow as Dexter needs to have weekly check ups. Due to already loosing our family home and belongings, whilst having no contents insurance and then burdened with yet another bill! Please if you could just spare $1, each and every cent will help our whanau tremendously!
