Please help save Randy

Auckland

Randy is a really cute handsome 11 years old German Shepard x Corgi mixed

Randy has a very large mass in his spleen, and this will very likely be cancer.

The tumor needs to come out sooner or later. These growths tend to bleed or split and cause the death of the patient.

Randy has low albumin level which he almost certainly not processing food properly so the gut is not absorbing the proteins needed for the liver to make the required amount of albumin. Splenic tumors surgery would be very risky in his current state with such low albumin. Using plasma transfusions can temporarily increase his albumin, but this is very expensive (cost few thousand a day)

Randy could also have a bowel condition such as inflammatory bowel disease or a diffuse tumor called small cell lymphoma which is not going to get better unless we identify it and treat it precisely.

Randy is going to need intensive management, more diagnostics AND surgery in order to be able to save him, and this is going to cost many thousands of dollars (likely in the 8-12k bracket). The cost is astronomical. We have paid almost $4,200 already just for the hospitalisation & diagnostics and haven't started surgery.
