Update on Bronwyn
8 February 2025She's doing ok.
Spent 2 days in hospital for a viral infection.
Has a couple of lesions in her bone in her arm.
Looks like it's back to radiation.
We all know Bronwyn is a fighter and this is a hard journey to be on.
If you could help her financial that's one less stress for them to deal with.

Heading home to carry on the next part of her journey
8 January 2025Happy New Year
4 weeks in hospital and Bronwyn is heading home today.
She is fighting a good battle, stem cells are doing their thing, few setbacks on the way with gallstone and mouth ulcer.
She is giving her all but still has a big road in front of her.
Looking forward to some rest and recovery at home, alone with some good food.
A big thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at Auckland Hospital who have been caring for our Bronwyn.

Message from Bronwyn
2 January 2025It has been day 20 in hospital, and I have been struggling a lot.
It has not been easy by far.
I know the hard part is over but there is another hurdle I have to overcome.
I have to try to eat normal foods in which I won’t have any taste buds for quite a while.
The doctor said it could last for about 6 months.
The doctors will re-assess me on Monday to decide whether I will go home or not.
I am determined to eat naturally and not through a tube.
All I want is to go home right now.

Stem cells in
25 December 2024It's been a rough couple of weeks.
Bron has had a humidifier attached to her nose to help with her dry throat.
She has a feeding tube as she's lost desire to eat as well as struggling in keeping anything down due to the fluids going through the feeding tube.
Her hair is starting to fall out and like her husband, son and other whanau she will be shaving her hair off once she is up to it.
