The Manawatu Hindu Society aims to build a Hindu Community Centre in Manawatu and accomplish the following objectives:

• Promote Hindu culture and religion.

• Provide a common platform for social functions and events.

• Provide a platform to perform religious functions and to celebrate festivals.

• Establish a Hindu temple.

The community centre and the temple will be built based on the principles of Hinduism to serve the cultural, social, and religious needs of the community.

About us

We were established in May 2019 after identifying the need for a Hindu Community Centre in the Manawatu region.

Use of funds

The building and construction of a two-story complex (approx 400 square meters) with kitchen and car parking facilities. Any surplus funds will be used for the maintenance and on-going expenses of the community centre.

We were formed in May, 2019 after seeing a need in the Hindu community for a Temple / Community Hall in our Manawatu region.

The building and construction of a two-story Temple (approx 400 square meters) with kitchen and car parking facilities. Any surplus funds will be used for continuation of the Temples services and for any members experiencing hardship.
