Thank you so much to each and every one of you for your support and generosity.

Watson is so happy to be home. He is so much better than he was. We’re hoping this improvement keeps going in the right direction. As you can see from the video he’s still chipper even after all he’s been through. Thank you for helping us get him through this tough time. Thank you for helping to GIVE him more time. I’m so humbled by all your kindness. It means the world to Jon and Chloe.

Thank you to every one of you who has helped Watson get to this point. I will try to keep the campaign open for a bit longer so we can share the outcome of the new risky treatment on here.

Watson is doing so well. He is getting better!!!

The vet has described him as a completely different dog to what he was when he came in 2 weeks ago. Thanks to the generous donations from all of you, Watson’s care this week has allowed him to turn a much needed corner. He is such a fighter and just needed that extra time which you have all so generously given him. Watch the video to get the latest update from Jon.

Thank you for all your support. Next update in a couple of days…

  • Slightly better again!!

      12 February 2025

Thanks to all of you, Watson is improving under specialist care. He is slightly better again today. They are starting him on some human medicine - which will hopefully bind to the bile salts that they think are causing the inflammation in the small intestine. A bit of an experiment, but so-far-so-good! They want to start planning what diet to put him on so he can build muscle back up. But he’s a completely different dog this week compared to what he was last week. Alert & wagging his tail! We’re just hoping for more small improvements each day.

Thanks again for your generosity and support. This little guy has such a fighting spirit!

Update from Jon. Monday 10 Feb.

Thanks to each and every one of you. Because of you, Watson gets the next few days to keep fighting. It’s looking promising, a long way to go yet. But he is such a champ!

    Specialist update tomorrow hopefully x

  • Not much to update

Watson is better than he was earlier in the week, but we are not in the clear just yet.

He is off the IV because his veins have collapsed, but is managing to drink water and is being fed by feeding tube every 4h. He hasn’t vomitted up any of the tube-feeds for a few days now, which is really promising!

Not much happens over the weekend, so will expect more of an update on Monday or Tuesday (when the specialist returns). Thanks for all your support! Kia kaha Watson!
