No-one expects their child to die before them - it isn't the natural order of thing's.

Manawatu / Whanganui

Kiaora Whanau, on June 14th 2019, my beautiful friend Missy gave birth to her fifth child at the Palmerston North Hospital, unfortunately her little daughter did not make it.

About 4 weeks before Nikaiya was born, at the 19 week follow up Missy was told her that her baby was fine, but she was called into the Palmerston North Hospital, then transferred down to Wellington Hospital. Doctor's said her baby was dying from kidney failure due to being covered in cysts and her heart being swollen. Sadly Nikaiya died at 23 weeks and 4 days gestation on the 13th of June 2019, the day before her mother gave birth. We are devastated about the loss of this little angel.

At the moment we are trying to figure out what to do with little Nikaiya and are trying to keep her little body preserved. We would like to bury her with family and we want to try our best to make that happen. So I am asking for any donations, big or small, to go towards helping cover the funeral costs. Thank you for your love and support.
