Tēnā koutou katoa (Greetings to you all)

My name is Cruze Kapa and I am a young fashion designer with a passion to see the beauty of Aotearoa, New Zealand reflected in the garments I create.

Why am I asking for your support?

I am excited to announce that I have been selected to present the Cruze Fashion collection in Canada as part of the ‘Vancouver Fashion Week Showcase.’

I am asking you to Give a Little to help me take this collection of New Zealand inspired garments to an event that celebrates 500 international designers in one week!!

Who is Cruze Kapa?

I am a young, Maori, Deaf fashion designer who is passionate about inspiring young people within the Deaf community to dream beyond any limiting circumstances. I believe I am in a unique position where I can use business as a vehicle to create as many opportunities as I can for others to succeed as well.

In 2016, I graduated from Otago University with Bachelor of Design (Fashion) and in 2017, I relocated to Auckland to start my own business and extend my collection of clothing designs.

CRUZE Fashion includes myself and my apprentice Shoja Mohammadi. Shoja is very skilled at producing garments and he has played a vital role in helping me to ensure that the vision is realized. This opportunity will allow us to meet new people in the industry including other designers and allow us the opportunity to network and share the CRUZE brand story and clothing line.
