Please support Derek & family in his final weeks

It’s never easy to accept that a family member is terminal and honestly it’s still very hard to believe it.

Derek has been a builder all of his life, working 7 days a week to provide for his family. He has always been the first person to lend a hand to help anyone he can.

Derek is a breath of fresh air and puts a smile on everyone’s face with a good joke or funny comment. Any tradie that knows or who has had the pleasure of working with Derek will know tools go flying if things don’t work a certain (Dereks) way.

Derek is 58 and has recently been diagnosed with a Stage 4 Glioma Brain Tumour. The life expectancy was originally 14 months with surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. However 3 weeks into treatment Derek has fallen very ill due to the rapid growth of the tumour and has now been given only a few weeks to live, leaving behind his wife and four children.

We are hoping to raise some funds to help support Derek and his family in his last few weeks, along with funeral costs and expenses.
