Baby Jaxon was attacked by a dog when he was only one day old, less than 48 hours later he sadly passed away.
Waikato
Jaxon's family has had it worse than most in 2020. Jaxons's Mum's long term parter passed earlier in the year. Following this, she found out she was pregnant and expecting a wee boy. Jaxon was meant to be her fresh start and a positive reminder of her late partner.
She was over joyed when Jaxon was born happily and healthily in the early hours of Saturday the 24th of October. This joy was short lived as the following evening Jaxon was attacked by a dog and rushed to hospital. The injuries were too much for his little body to bear. Jaxon sadly passed away, and joined his Dad on October 27th, at just under three days old.
Jaxon's Mum, her family and friends are obviously struggling to come to terms with this absolute tragedy. We are asking for donations to help with funeral costs to ease the financial burden.

Funds 5 November 2020
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far. It is very much appreciated by Jax's Mum and whānau. Just to keep everyone updated, I will be withdrawing some funds on behalf of Jax's Mum. This will help pay for some lovely castings of Jax's hands and feet from Angel Casts as Mum would like a few extras for family, and to help pay some other bills. Angel Casts is a charitable trust that provides free casting for situations similar to this, you may see some boxes around trying to fundraise for this (if you live in the Waikato), if you do please help them with this lovely service they provide by donating a few dollars. x
