Here is a photo of the scar that mum is left with!! Surgery is over but there is still a long road ahead.
Since surgery mum has had a couple of seizures but she is in good hands at the hospital.
Here is a bit of how the doctors were so unsure of mum's diagnosis....

We have great news!!
Mum has tuberculosis of the Brain. She would have contracted it as a child.Its very rare and had doctors stumped, but totally curable.
She still has a long road ahead, and is recovering well from brain surgery!!
Mum's treatment for tuberculosis will be ongoing for 12 months or more.
Mum and dad would like everyone for their generosity and support in this crazy time and be well assured all money received will go towards Heathers treatment and recovery
Mum has just come out of surgery, she was in there for 5 hours.
Dad and her sister, auntie Margaret were with her when she woke up.
Mum is in critical care for now so they can keep a close eye on her
Mum will be getting ready for surgery now,
Auntie Margaret arrived this morning and saw mum before she went in.
We are all very nervous and anxious but just want it all over and done with so mum can start healing
Tomorrow morning mum will go in for her surgery, she is very nervous but hopeful that it will be successful.
I just talked to her on the phone to wish her luck and tell her that I will be thinking of her.
She is so brave and trying to be positive.
The surgery will take about 4 hours.

Mum and my sisters spending time together before they go home on Friday, them mum's sister is flying down next.
Trying to make the most of their time together, and creating memories.
Mum can stay with dad for the weekend close to the hospital.
She will be back on Monday where they will do another MRI scan where they test to see what parts of the brain controls certain parts of her body.
