Your help will impact these family businesses through a financially and emotionally tough time.
Bay of Plenty
As you may be aware, following the fire on New Year’s Eve, on the 27th January a second fire blazed through the building of 200 Chadwick Road, Greerton, causing two family owned and operated businesses to be forced to close until further notice. Thankfully no one was hurt.
Locals have expressed keen interest in donating to the lovely families who have been affected by these terrible circumstances, therefore we are reaching out to the wider community for support.
Ruk Thai was established 7 years and 7 months ago, Father, Mother and Son team (Paul, Somjit and Art) are eager to get up and running again. Re-establishing their business as soon as possible within the Greerton area is a priority but is proving very costly.
Curry Planet Indian Restaurant was bought 9 months ago by Father, Mother and Daughter team (Sanjay, Sonia & Mannat). They too are also extremely eager to get their business back up and running as soon as possible.
Greerton Village is at a loss without these authentic and popular restaurants. All funds raised will go directly to the two families to help rebuild their businesses. Your help will impact them through this tough time, and we all look forward to their re-establishment. Any donations no matter how big or small will be a huge blessing. Thank you.
