Plimmerton Bowling Club lighting and equipment for the new green
Plimmerton Bowling Club members are funding an artificial green and need your help to fund the lighting and equipment to finish the job.

Plimmerton Bowling Club is a successful and well used community club of 80 members. We have just placed the order for an artificial green to replace the grass one that was flood prone and becoming too expensive and time consuming to maintain. The new green will allow use all year round and put the club on a sustainable footing for the future.
$350k has already been raised for the new green, which will be installed by mid 2019.
80% of this money has been raised from loans from club members and we are now looking to raise another $73.5k from supporters in the public, in the local community and businesses and from casual users of the club facilities.
We would love you to be part of making this club even more successful and enjoyable to play at through this upgrade of our green facilities and equipment.
This money will be spent on:
Four floodlights including wiring, columns and installation - $50k
Install AstroTurf on our paths - $15k
Green vacuum cleaner $3.5k
New mats and jacks - $2k
New scoreboards - $2k
Rink markers and pegs - $1k
Use of funds
The money raised will be spent on:
Four floodlights, AstroTurf on our paths, a green vacuum cleaner, new mats and jacks, new scoreboards, rink markers and pegs.
Any excess will be spent on maintaining club facilities
