Te Hā o Hine-ahu-one Palmerston North Women’s Health Collective

Although it does not show in the givealittle amount, last year we raised over $35,000 from donations from individuals and groups (in addition to the successful funding applications to various trusts and other funding bodies). Our major crowd funder event of an art exhibition/auction in partnership with Te Manawa Museum of Art, Science and Heritage raised about $25,000 thanks to the great generosity from over 50 artists who contributed 71 pieces of art. We were also supported by BlackSheep Design in our crowd funding work and a number of other businesses, our Mayor and key City Councillors, arts ambassador Shaun Kay, and our local MP. This wonderful assistance from our community also demonstrated the strength of community support for us and our work. A big thank you to all our wonderful supporters.
