Monique Davidson – Central Hawkes Bay District Council CEO.
We are not sure if a polar plunge was on Monique’s bucket list but after the 30th of June, we are hoping she’ll be able to tick it off. Help us raise the $$$ needed to get Monique into the pool on the 30th of June.
BACKGROUND
In 2018 the future of the Waipawa and Districts Centennial Memorial Pool looked bleak. The community responded and a few short months later the re-development began. With the majority funded by Council, Grants, Sponsors and donations, the Community still need to raise approximately $80,000. As part of the ongoing fundraising for the facility, a Polar Plunge will be held on the 30th of June 2019.
Six local celebrities with a bounty on their heads have volunteered, with very little persuasion, to be the Icebreakers on the day. The only condition- we have to reach a secret $$ reserve for them to take the plunge!! Please help us to get there –
Each of the Icebreakers is working hard behind the scenes to drum up support but we need assistance from our wider community.
All funds raised will go to the redevelopment of the Waipawa and Districts Centennial Memorial Pool Complex
All funds raised will go to the Waipawa and Districts Centennial Memorial Pool.
