From my first strokes on the water at age 13, rowing quickly became more than just a sport for me; it became my driving force. Hours turned into years of dedicated training, often before dawn, as I constantly pushed my physical and mental limits. That commitment led to a dream come true in 2022 when I had the honour of representing New Zealand as a junior. Now, after countless early mornings and relentless effort, I’ve been selected to wear the silver fern again as I head to the Oceania Regatta in Australia! This experience is not just about my race; it’s about representing our country, proving that dedication pays off, and inspiring the next generation.
