The Islamic Women’s Council of New Zealand would like to wish you a rewarding Ramadan.

We are committed to making a positive impact in our community and believe Ramadan presents a unique opportunity to recharge. For IWCNZ, we aim to continue to support Muslim females in New Zealand. The IWCNZ Ramadan campaign, Power up the Ummah, is designed to raise funds for that programming. With your help, we can "amp up” and make a real difference in the lives of New Zealand Muslimah.

We have three fundraising goals to light-up our sisterhood:

🔌Our initial goal is to raise $15,000

🔌Second goal ,which is more ambitious , is to obtain sustainable funding so that we can offer robust programming and nurture leadership opportunities.

🔌Our ultimate goal is to aim to employ youth workers, counselors, and social workers nationwide, and to provide safe and secure venues for Muslimah across Aotearoa.

About us

Islamic Women's Council Charity number CC 48202, is an organization set up to upskill the women in the community as well as building our community. it was set up more than 30 years ago and is now under the leadership of Aliya Danzeisen and the IWCNZ national council.
