Hartleigh's princess bucket list and supporting their family as they navigate through this horrible time so they can to focus on Hartleigh
Hamilton, Waikato
Hartleigh is a vibrant and joyful 4-year-old girl whose bright spirit shines through even in the face of a devastating diagnosis. Full of kindness and determination, she knows exactly what she wants and when she wants it, embodying a precious innocence and strength that inspires everyone around her. Now, Hartleigh is courageously facing the fight of her life against a high-grade Glioblastoma, an aggressive and fast-growing brain tumor that has been deemed untreatable.
Despite the heartbreaking prognosis of only months to live, Hartleigh and her immediate family are focusing every moment on creating unforgettable memories filled with love, laughter, and joy. They are preparing for the difficult journey ahead, which includes radiation and oral chemotherapy treatments in Auckland, hoping to buy precious time together.
Amidst this emotional and physical battle, the financial burden weighs heavily on the family, adding an extra layer of challenge during an already overwhelming time. Supporting Hartleigh means not only standing by her through medical treatments but also helping her family navigate these hardships so they can dedicate their energy to what matters most—cherishing every moment with their beloved little girl.
My Niece Hartleigh and her Family
Hartleigh has her very own princess bucket list—a collection of magical wishes and special experiences she hopes to enjoy. From fairytale moments to once-in-a-lifetime adventures, each wish is a chance to fill her days with wonder, and infinite excitement. Funds will also go towards travel to and from the hospital, accommodation near the hospital, and living costs. Any excess funds may go towards funeral costs.
Blueys world trip 🩷 10 May 2026
Update: We’ve just come back from an unforgettable trip to Brisbane for Bluey’s World, and we’re still smiling. Hartleigh got to experience the fun, the excitement, and the kind of joy that feels bigger than words.
A big thank you to the Novotel Southbank, the Bluey’s World management, and Australia Zoo for helping make this such a special experience. And to our wonderful friends and family in Brisbane—thank you for the warm welcome, the love, and for helping us feel at home.
Thank you also to everyone who helped make this possible through the Child cancer foundation and the huljich grant —this trip meant so much to our Hartleigh, and we’ll be carrying the memories with us every day. More photos and updates coming soon!
