Allan Halse (founder of recently liquidated CultureSafe NZ Ltd) needs help to pay $67,035.78 to avoid being bankrupted on 25 October 2022.
Nationwide
The latest NZ Human Rights Commission report finds two in five NZ workers are being ‘bullied’ in their working lives. Allan has voiced concerns over increases in workplace bullying over the last decade and is a threat to bad employers who fail to provide safe work places. He is NZ’s leading anti-workplace bullying advocate and has support from world workplace bullying expert/author Dr Gary Namie (American Workplace Bullying Institute), who said:
“Allan Halse has helped thousands of bullied workers in ways that go beyond mere moral support and encouragement. He has represented them in cases against their bullying employers in front of the only government agency that hears such cases, the Employment Relations Authority (ERA). The unique nature of the NZ law allows Allan, a non-lawyer, to topple lawyers representing employers. His skill at marshaling evidence before government-appointed hearing officers (ERA “Members” who themselves are lawyers) has led to the largest awards granted”.
The ERA (through Crown Law) have failed to observe the mandatory requirements of the Judicial Review Procedure Act 2016 to either file a Statement of Defence (Section 10) or apply for a Direction (Section 14). This prevents Allan from defending himself, against false allegations against him.
I completely understand workplace bullying and how it can affect someone’s life and Allan has always been there for me. Help Allan continue to make a difference in NZ, through his expert support of the victims of workplace bullying, giving them a voice.
To avoid being bankrupted, money raised will go help pay the $67,035.78 demanded by the Rangiura Trust Board, due on the 25 October 2022. Any excess will go towards the expenses needed to organise and run a workplace bullying conference in New Zealand.
