Princess Ella's Journey

On the 7th of July 2023 at a friend's place Ella fell off a chair, went blue, stopped breathing and was completely limp and lifeless for a minute before taking a breath and coming back to us. This became more common and started happening every time she became stressed for up to 3 minutes at a time. At the same time Ella developed what appeared to be a lung infection. Multiple doctors, specialists and hospital visits later being told its fine and nothing to worry about. The family disagreed and finally on the 3rd hospital visit had a doctor that agreed she was getting worse with no understanding why. Ella and family were transferred to Starship Hospital. Then the biggest gut-wrenching moment for Buddy and Amelia (Ella's parents) was to come after having an MRI it was discovered that wee Ella now 3years old has a rare Brain Tumor on the base of her Brainstem that is pushing against the Medulla which controls breathing as well as swallowing. Ella has already had an operation and started chemo with many more things to come and a long journey for her and her family.
