Our campaign focuses on helping the Resthaven Foundations fund a mobility van for elderly residents who aren't able to travel independently.
Waikato
We are a group of year 13 students who attend Cambridge High School in the Waikato. We are in a class called Extension 4. This program allows us the freedom to explore education beyond the classroom. This year, we have embarked on something incredible and would love your support to reach nation wide publicity.
Resthaven is a local non-profit community resthome in Cambridge whom we have built a close relationship with. We are supporting them in fundraising for a transportation vehicle to allow the older residents greater freedom within our Cambridge community.
We have created a 7-week fundraising campaign leading up to a town wide ‘Thrifty Fifties’ dress-up day on the 5th of August where members of the community and businesses will donate money to meet our goal of $70,000.
Extension 4 is a programme that allows us to explore education outside the classroom.
The funds will be used for the purchasing of a transportation vehicle for the residents of Resthaven Cambridge.
