NINE DAYS TO GO !!! - SHARE !! SHARE !! SHARE !!
15 August 2020Huge appreciation to all that have generously donated to help Sam and his whānau during this challenging journey.
If you can share this page to others - we can give these efforts one final boost.
This is an update from Tracey -
Sam is now settled into Wellington Hospital, he has had a pre-transplant cycle of chemo therapy which took 7 days, The donor stem cells arrived in New Zealand from a young man in Germany and have been transplanted into Sam.
Sam will be in isolation for a number of weeks while the transplant settles as he is very susceptible to infections.
It will be a few months before he will be strong enough to come home to Otaki but is in good spirits, prepared for the tough road ahead and eager to get through this phase in order to return to all the people and things he loves."

Thinking of you Sam and hope these coming days go well and that your transplant is a huge success.
We do keep in touch with Mum and Dad on your progress so big hugs to you all.
Lots of Love Jenny and Reg.
