Providing Support for Children in Need in the Thames/Coromandel/Hauraki District
Coromandel, Waikato
"Children in Care" was found to provide care and support for vulnerable children in the Thames/Coromandel District during times of need.
We are committed to assisting children facing unexpected and challenging circumstances within our District. Our goal is to provide them with essential supplies—primarily donated and often recycled—including clothing, toys, and other necessities. Through this effort, we aim to help alleviate hardship and create a positive impact on our community.
Winter Snug & Warm Appeal – Helping Keep Kids Cozy This Winter
Our Winter Snug & Warm Appeal is proudly supported by the Rotary Club of Thames. In partnership with Goldfields Shopping Centre, Coromandel CFM, and the Thames/Coromandel Newsfeed, we’re collecting essential new and preloved winter items like pyjamas, sleeping bags, blankets, hot water bottles, and socks—to help keep children in need warm.
How You Can Help
You can support our appeal by donating new or preloved winter essentials in good condition and dropping them off at the Gift Shop "Made Pretty" located at the entrance of the Goldfields Shopping Centre in Thames
Or, if you’d like to make a direct impact, you can donate right here on Givealittle. Every contribution helps us provide warmth and comfort to children in need this winter.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity! 💙
